Black Noise / White Shadow, Noble Savage’s first LP, now available

August 23, 2024 by Deaf

Noble Savage, dark wave and postpunk project created by musician, producer and filmmaker Hari Sama, presents its LP “Black Noise / White Shadow”, a 10-track album where we can listen to all of its producer’s feeling, ranging from desire, concerns about a plastified world and his deepest thoughts.

This LA-born project has the spirit of a city of immigrants essential to punk and all countercultural manifestations that followed: A city of a thousand faces, this being key to this project’s sound that remains in a constant mutable sound between dark wave’s darkness with a pinch of hi-NRG to “Bronski Beat”.

Noble Savage recreates the underground of the 80s from music and performance and with every release their singles come with videos to compliment the cinematographic universe characteristic of Noble Savage.

Subsequently comes Oaths Under a Rock, that becomes the flagship single for this new production synthesizing perfectly the balance between synths, danceable rhythms and melancholic lyrics that each piece boasts.

In addition to these releases, a videoclip is being prepared marking the project’s history using Spanish in their lyrics with the intent of emphasizing the project’s origin that, while having been born in LA, Hari Sama has spent most of his life in Mexico City.

Their short career notwithstanding, Noble Savage has had the chance to play on stages in Mexico City such as Festival Marvin, House of Vans and Circo Volador, sharing the stage with Clan of Xymox, adding to their shows in Monterrey and Torreón.

After 2 years of hard work in the material’s music and concept, Hari Sama presented this album in San Diego, CA’s well known “Till Two Club”.

Now, it’s turn to visit our country to perform live for their followers “Black Noise / White Shadow” on September 28 at Teatro Lúcido in Mexico City to later continue their US tour.
