Prismatic Shapes Tour del Absurdo

Prismatic Shapes is getting ready to take their unmistakeable post-punk and gothic rock sound to new heights with their Tour del Absurdo, after releasing their second preview, Tensión. With a third and last preview on the way before presenting their next LP, the Mexican band has great plans to surprise their fans across Latin America.

As part of this tour, Prismatic Shapes will visit countries such as Costa Rica, Chile and Peru, presenting their new tracks in important alt scene venues. Additionally, the tour includes extensive dates through Mexico, where they’ll join legendary gothic rock band The 69 Eyes, and will have a special date in Guadalajara with notorious post-punk band Twin Tribes.

Prismatic Shapes in the First Goth Stage at Hell and Heaven 2023

Prismatic Shapes joins iconic festival Hell and Heaven 2023 as part of the first stage exclusively dedicated to the goth genre: The Temple of Goth. This new space in the festival will be the epicenter for gothic rock and post-punk, with an impressive lineup that includes legens such as Ville Valo, Lacrimosa, Ministry, London After Midnight y The 69 Eyes. Prismatic Shapes, as national talent, will have the honor of sharing the stage with these great international icons.

For the occasion, Prismatic Shapes will present at Hell and Heaven their new single Teatro del Absurdo, the first preview of their next LP, to be released by the beginning of 2025. Prismatic Shapes Headlines the Rock al Río Negro Festival, Colombia

On December 11 2022, Prismatic Shapes will debut at the Festival Rock al Río Negro in Colombia as one of the event’s headliners. This anticipated show will be the first time the Mexican trio perform in Río Negro, sharing the stage with great artists such as Petite Fellas and Superlitio. The band will take their characteristic post-punk, new wave and gothic rock sound to the Colombian audience.

This concert comes after a succesful mini tour in Colombia, where Prismatic Shapes offered shows at Bogota’s Asilo and Medellin’s Blue, consolidating their growing popularity in the latin american scene. Prismatic Shapes at House of Vans: Live Post-Punk and Gothic Rock

Prismatic Shapes, one of the most emblematic bands in Mexico’s post-punk and gothic rock scene, has been selected to perform at House of Vans México. This iconic recently opened space launched Channel 66, a digital platform created to keep music shows alive during the pandemic. Through social media, fans will be able to enjoy their favorite bands from the comfort of their homes.
